Venetian Glass bead in the shape of an Onion, approximately 27 x 31mm; with Red and White colors and with 24 Karat Gold Foil. This is the principle shaped bead of the Onion bead family of beads; and therefore, all the beads in this category, we refer to as "Onion" beads.

These handmade, Venetian beads, were made by our oldest, and first bead maker and company in Venice, Italy.
She was a premier, Murano glass, Venetian bead artisan; and has since closed her company, and passed away.
