Klimt Small 12 MM Squares, with Both Gold & Silver Foil

"Klimt", Murano glass, handmade Venetian beads, approximately 12-13 mm squares, x 8 mm deep, with 24 Karat Gold foil on one side, and pure silver foil on the opposite side of the bead. These beads are made in a layering process, under the flame in Venice, Italy, using only Murano glass. First black glass is melted under the flame onto a copper wire, then 24 Karat Gold Foil is applied to one side; pure silver foil is applied to the other side; next "Gemmato", small pieces of multicolored glass "frit" is applied; and last a smooth, covering of crystal clear Murano glass covers all the layers.
